The WA branch of the Australian Health Promotion Association (AHPA®) is hosting a Lunch & Learn on Monday, the 25th of November with presenter Dr Amy Mowle, Research Fellow at Pathways in Place.
Amy is an early career researcher with an interest in describing, exploring, and addressing complex social problems. To advance this research agenda, she has led and contributed to research efforts spanning across a range of fields, including digital sociology, public health, public policy and knowledge translation. Amy is currently employed as a research fellow with Pathways in Place: Co-creating Community Capabilities, a five-year interdisciplinary research program housed within VU's Mitchell Institute. Pathways in Place is an innovative program of research and action that works closely with communities to achieve positive, sustainable and systemic change. Through her work on this program, Amy's scholarly interests have expanded to include systems theory and its application to understanding and addressing complex social problems such as inequity and intergenerational disadvantage.
