Alisha completed her Master of Public Health in 2019 and in 2020 was awarded the AHPA WA Branch Graduate Scholarship which saw her work at Act Belong Commit based at Curtin University on a project to promote mental health and wellbeing among culturally and linguistically diverse communities in WA.
Alisha currently works for The Raine Study based at UWA and has recently completed a Graduate Diploma in Health Administration which was sparked by her interest in public health policy development and advocacy. In 2022 she will be working for the WA Department of Health. Alisha recently joined the AHPA committee in 2021 and is looking forward to the work she will undertake in her role as Advocacy Co-Lead.
