The House of Representatives Chronic Disease final report cites AHPA’s contribution.

We made a submission in July 2015 (click here to view the submission) and then two Board members appeared before the Standing Committee in Adelaide in March 2016.

The final report was released on May 5th (click here to view the final report‬). It acknowledges our input in relation to the link between disadvantage and higher rates of chronic disease as well as our views on the most cost-effective health promotion interventions and a number of other examples. It makes a number of recommendations including in relation to performance indicators.
