The Australian Health Promotion Association (AHPA®) has recently launched Health Promotion Practitioner registration. Practitioners working to promote health and prevent illness can now apply to become an IUHPE Registered Health Promotion Practitioner. The AHPA VIC/TAS Branch invites you to attend this free event to learn more about registration and the benefits for your organisation and your staff.

Andrew Jones-Roberts, Director, Australian Health Promotion Association and Chair of the National Accreditation Organisation Management Committee

Dr Bruce Bolam, Victoria’s Chief Preventative Health Officer, who will provide his insight into why this is a very positive step forward for the preventative health workforce.

AHPA® has been endorsed by the International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE) as the National Accreditation Organisation for Health Promotion Practitioner registration in Australia. This means that Health Promotion professionals now have the opportunity to apply to become an IUHPE Registered Health Promotion Practitioner.
