Health Promotion Learning and Teaching Community of Practice - Practitioner Registration

The next AHPA Learning and Teaching Community of Practice will focus on the IUHPE Health Promotion Accreditation System. The online session will be held on Friday 15 November from 2pm-3pm AEDT. Come along to hear how accreditation is value adding to our profession from an IUHPE accredited university, an accredited course graduate who has become registered and an employer who has supported their health promotion workforce to become Registered Health Promotion Practitioners.

Presenters

  • Lucy Wickham (AHPA) – representing the National Accreditation Organisation.
  • Prof Sharyn Burns (Curtin University) – representing an IUHPE accredited course.
  • Meg Scolyer (Gateway Health) – employer of health promotion practitioners who has recently supported all her eligible team members to become registered.
  • Alyssa Monte (Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services) – RHPP who is a graduate of an accredited course.

Registrations

The event is free for AHPA members and $25 for non-members.

Event registrations close Wednesday 13 November 2024. The event link will be emailed to registrants on Thursday 14 November 2024.

The event will be recorded and sent to all registrants.
