Free Health Communication Webinar

Understand some of the challenges present in health communication, how these are related to health literacy, and how plain language can support your communication.

Janneke Port and Viktoria Mantieno from enliven are excited to host a free health literacy webinar discussing health literacy and plain language as a strategy to support health literacy and improve health communication.

They will be joined by Solange Lajoie, a member of enliven’s Multicultural Community Engagement Network, who will share her personal experience of some of the complexities of health communication.

The session will include:

• A lived experience presentation that explores some of the challenges of health communication and navigating the health system.
• A short presentation about health literacy and plain language as a strategy to support health communication.
• Time for questions from the audience

Target audience: healthcare professionals working directly with patients, health promotion practitioners.
