Improve Health Communication with enliven Victoria’s Mastering Plain Language workshop

Everyone needs clear health information to allow them to take care of their health, understand health risks and make informed decisions. Health communication, however, can present several challenges to readers. It often includes unfamiliar medical terminology, it can require readers to interpret statistics, and it is often deeply personal information that readers may be accessing in times of stress or confusion. 

As a result, there is a need to ensure that we are communicating health information in plain language.

This online workshop on July 24^th runs for 2hrs and is open to anyone who understands the key principles of plain language and wants to put these into practice.

This workshop will allow participants to have hands-on experience in writing in plain language and converting existing documents to plain language.
