Simple rules, small wins, big changes: A framework for systems change in communities

30 Jun 2016, 4:00pm-5:30pm

What will you learn? You will gain a practical understanding of how to go from concept to practice in systems change across the stages of a community project.

Who should attend? This webinar is open to all, but is particularly suited to those relatively new to systems change who work directly with communities to enable change. It will help you if you're looking for practical tools to apply to systems practice.

About the seminar
The ABLe Change Framework is aimed at helping organisations, communities and government entities improve the success of community change efforts and more effectively address significant social issues.
Designed by Professor Pennie Foster-Fishman and Dr Erin Watson at Michigan State University, the ABLe Change Framework draws on research on community change from around the world and provides a robust toolbox of powerful and feasible strategies that communities can use to pursue transformative change.
In this seminar, Professor Foster-Fishman will:
• Discuss the phases of systems change work for community projects – define, design, do and learn
• Provide examples of tools and illustrate their use with case studies
• Answer questions after her presentation.
