Would you like to learn how to write efficiently and concisely to influence the community or decision makers?
This workshop will be delivered by Dr Melissa Stoneham from the Public Health Advocacy Institute of WA and will provide participants with the confidence and tools they need to write persuasively including establishing authority as an expert, knowing your audience, explore essential content to include and how to structure arguments. The workshop will explore different types of written advocacy including
· Media releases
· Letter to ministers
· Letter to the editor
· Blog posts/Enews
The workshop will further explore how ‘persuasive writing’ can be applied to writing reports, grant and funding applications and formulating policy.
