AHPA made a submission to the National Preventive Health Strategy consultation identifying areas we thought were positive and issues that needed to be addressed more consistently and comprehensively. This included the need for a greater focus on the social determinants of health, the importance of the health promotion workforce and the impact of climate change and the need to embed action on the social determinants of health.
