This position will lead the development, operational implementation planning, monitoring, reporting and evaluation of Apunipima's Health Promotion program providing professional advice, support and oversight, and working in collaboration with Primary Health Care operations management to ensure an integrated, systematic and comprehensive service delivery.
It is essential for the successful candidate to hold a tertiary level qualification in a discipline relevant to the Health Promotion program area. Demonstrated experience in health promotion program strategy planning, development and implementation as well as writing business cases and submissions - essential. This position also requires demonstrated experience leading and developing teams to implement innovative health promotion approaches in a complex environment. Furthermore, an understanding of and proven experience within the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Sector is highly desirable.
