Krysten is a Lecturer at Curtin University and Researcher with the Collaboration for Evidence, Research and Impact in Public Health. She is the Course Coordinator for Curtin’s IUHPE accredited BSc Health Promotion course and the BSc Health Promotion / Health & Safety double degree, and is involved in the development and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate units. Since 2010, Krysten has worked on health promotion interventions in a number of settings including schools, universities, workplaces, general practice and rural communities. She has experience working on a range of issues including alcohol and other drugs, obesity, physical activity, food security, and chronic disease. Krysten was the Editorial Assistant for the Health Promotion Journal of Australia for several years, and continues to work closely with the Journal as a member of AHPA’s Research, Evaluation and Evidence Translation (REET) Committee. She has been an AHPA member since 2009.
