Gabriela Martinez

Gabi Martinez currently works on Dharawal Country at the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District in the Drug and Alcohol Service.

Gabi has worked in health for over twenty years across various sectors, including Population Health, community health and non- government organisations. Gabi has worked on range of health promotion initiatives including; food security, oral health, smoking cessation, physical activity, mental wellbeing, and carer & consumer participation. Prior to working in health, Gabi worked in education and community sectors. She brings a broad range of skills and experience in project management, working with stakeholders, capacity building, advocacy and working with marginalised communities. Gabi is an active member of the Health Services Union and is passionate about equity and planetary health.
