Who are we?

The Australian Health Promotion Association

Australia’s peak health promotion body, the Australian Health Promotion Association is the only professional association in Australia specifically for people interested or involved in the practice, research and study of health promotion.

Operating at both national and branch levels, the association is a member based organisation providing a forum for the exchange of ideas, knowledge, information and advocacy for population health and health promotion.

Our members include health promotion practitioners, policy makers, researchers and students from a broad range of sectors such as government departments and agencies, universities, non-government organisations, industry, and community-based organisations.
