AHPA event: AHPA National AGM

We hope to see many of our members at AHPA's National AGM, which will include a guest presentation by Wellbeing SA and AHPA. The presentation will be near the beginning of the AGM and go for approximately 30 minutes. The presentation will be followed by other business including the announcement of successful recipients of AHPA awards and the election of the AHPA® National Board of Directors for 2022-2023. Future proofing the health promotion workforce - what does it take?

Brief description:

Promoting good health and reducing disparities requires us to ‘future proof’ the health promotion workforce through enhancing the availability, distribution, capacity and skills of the workforce. Wellbeing SA has worked in partnership with AHPA to prepare An evidence-informed review to support the development of the South Australian Health Promotion Workforce Strategy. Report partners will present the findings of this review which included a survey of health promotion agencies across Australia, interviews and a review of the literature.
