When was the Victorian Branch established?

The Victorian branch has been established since 1993 when the inaugural Annual general Meeting was held.

The Health Promotion Association operates at both a National and Branch level in order to achieve its objectives.  At the national level, some of the Health Promotion Association's major programs include:

• The Australian Health Promotion Association's National Conference which is usually held annually.
• The peer reviewed Health Promotion Journal of Australia (3 issues per year).
• The Australian Health Promotion Update, the National Newsletter, is produced quarterly and provides regular updates of current projects and events.
• Information about employment, professional development activities as well as other matters of interest circulated via the national Mass e-mailing facility.
