The NSW Branch was established in 2001 with Marilyn Wise as the interim President. A major impetus for the formation of the Branch was the Australian Health Promotion Association 14th National Conference which was successfully held in Sydney in 2002. Since that time the Branch membership has steadily grown with 237 members in 2008.

The Branch Committee is always seeking to improve on the services and information we provide to our members. To enable us to do this, we need your feedback. If you have an idea or suggestion please let us know. The Committee is also looking for members who would like to help on particular working groups but do not necessarily want to officially become a Committee representative.
