The ACT Branch of the Australian Health Promotion Association was established in 2002 due to a strong groundswell of interest in health promotion in the ACT.  Priorities for the branch in its early stages were to organise a membership drive, and to determine an action plan for activity.  The ACT Branch continues to initiate and maintain communication and the exchange of ideas, experience and knowledge that promote health promotion practice for ACT members.
